O's Notes: Carrie's beautiful voice is up front and personal on songs like "Lullaby of Birdland". There are also swingers like "It Had To Be You" and blue ballads like "In The Dark" and
"Cryin". She is backed up by a strong band, especially saxophonist Mikole E. Kaar who doubles
as co-producer. The program is a collection of eight standards plus a couple of originals, a nicely balanced set.
